EXAM REQUIREMENTS

Beginning in January, 2018, exam education eligibility requirements must be completed through programs accredited by ACHENA, through schools that have completed Step 3 or greater in the ACHENA accreditation process, through programs approved by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario (CHO), or through programs outside of the US and Canada. Transcripts from programs outside of the US or Canada must be officially evaluated by an outside transcript evaluation service such as American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (aacrao.org), Educational Credential Evaluators (ece.org), or World Educational Services (wes.org) and determined equivalent by the CHC. Individuals whose transcripts are not determined equivalent are asked to complete additional training. Please visit achena.org and/or the CHO website for information about ACHENA-approved/accredited programs.

Beginning in January, 2020, all 500 hours of the required clinical training must be completed BEFORE applying for the exam.

Please see the Certification Handbook for more detailed information.
