Samantha Conboy, CCH, M.A. is a nationally certified classical homeopath with 8 years of clinical experience. She graduated from a 3 year program at the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California. Her main goal in practicing homeopathy is to help people feel better. She loves helping women with hormonal, digestive or urinary concerns.
Prior to her homeopathic training, Samantha completed a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology from San Diego State. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Santa Clara University.

Noel Peterson, Co-Vice President and Treasurer

Noel Peterson, MBA, CCH is a nationally certified classical homeopath. He obtained his homeopathy training from the 4-year program offered at Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated in 2009. Noel then opened his professional practice in Austin, Texas in 2010. He is also certified by Free and Healthy Children International as a Supervisor for the Homeoprophylaxis program. (HWNC-BC).
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Council on Homeopathic Certification, Noel is a past board member for the Minnesota Homeopathic Association and is a current professional member of the Texas Society of Homeopathy and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Noel is a published author in national homeopathic journals and natural health publications in the Austin, Texas area.

Zara Bourgeois, Co-Vice President

Zara A. Bourgeois, B.Sc, CCH is a certified classical homeopath with a successful practice in Edmonton, Alberta. She provides homeopathic counsel for both chronic and acute conditions and works with individuals of all ages and stages of life by providing compassionate care and guidance in addressing her client’s health concerns. She is certified with Free and Healthy Children International and works with individuals seeking supervision for the Homeoprophylaxis program.

Sharon Whitehead-van Loben Sels, Secretary (Public Director)

Sharon Whitehead-van Löben Sels, PhD, has over thirty years experience in education. She has taught kindergarten through the university level and is a passionate learner. Sharon earned her Doctor of Philosophy with a specialization in Education General degree from Capella University. She has a Master of Arts in Multilingual Education from California State University, Stanislaus and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Stanislaus.
Sharon has crossed paths with a homeopath and is an advocate for the right of all people to have the choice to use a homeopathic practitioner in their medical care. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve as the Public Director of the Council for Homeopathic Certification and strives to promote and educate the public on homeopathy.

Sheela Porter-Smith, Director

Sheela Porter-Smith, MSN, CCH. DHM is a practicing Nurse-Midwife/Family Nurse Practitioner who integrates Homeopathy into her practice with women and the general public. She has been using Homeopathy for over 30 years. Living in a rural area, she has experienced the resurgence of homeopathy on a grass roots level.
Sheela is passionate about the need to foster communication within the homeopathic community while at the same time proving its validity and safety to the larger Medical Community. It is through Certification that Homeopathy will remain strong.

Susana A. Galle, Director

Dr. Susana A. Galle, Director of The Body-Mind Center in Washington, DC, is a licensed professional practicing integrative care. She has four decades of clinical experience, also having co-authored books and published articles in peer-reviewed journals. She specializes in psychosomatics, and is qualified to practice several health professions. Dr. Galle works within a psychotherapeutic matrix that cultivates the doctor/patient relationship. She has a biopsychosocial and energetic model of health, with clients as active participants in the restoration of their own health, mental and physical.
Dr. Galle is a passionate advocate of homeopathy, which she views as a major catalyst of the healing process. She supports homeopathic education and practice within all health professions, as well as professional homeopathy.

Sheetal Tiwari, Director

Dr. Sheetal Tiwari BHMS, CCH, CCYE is a homeopathic physician. After an intense training for 5 and 1/2 years she graduated in homeopathic medicine with first class from University of Maharashtra, India. She has been a Student of Dr. Farokh Master. She has flourished her classical homeopathic practice in Cleveland,Ohio. She is a board certified classical homeopath with 6 years of clinical experience.
She also has an expertise training in traditional yogic practice.
Dr Sheetal is a strong promoter of classical homeopathy.She has a vision for one standard in homeopathic certification globally for maintaining the integrity and essence of classical homeopathic practice.

Ilana Meyers, Director

Ilana Meyers is a certified classical homeopath, practicing in the New York metropolitan area. She treats acute and chronic cases employing tissue salts, gemmotherapy extracts and a wide range of homeopathic remedies to heal and provide relief. ilana is a graduate of the Teleosis Homeopathic Collaborative in Boston, MA. Prior to attending Teleosis, she studied at the Hudson Valley School of Classical Homeopathy in New Paltz, NY. She works with people of all ages for a wide range of conditions, some of which include: chronic ear infections, allergies, migraines, mononucleosis, skin disorders, behavioral issues and coping with grief and trauma. She has guided women during pregnancy, childbirth and menopause to adjust irregularities and ease transitions. ilana also has experience treating household pets.
Ilana graduated from Barnard College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She currently lives in Rockland County, New York.

Robert Melo, Director

Robert Melo M.D., CCH was raised in a family with a history in homeopathy, where his father, uncle, and elder brother were all M.D.s. with post graduate studies in homeopathy. He is a medical doctor trained in conventional medicine at Xavier University in Bogota and University of Miami (Jackson Memorial Hospital). After medical school, he did studies in Acupuncture and Neural Therapy in Colombia and completed studies in homeopathy at The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital, where he also got involved in a research program lead by Dr Peter Fisher (Director of Research at The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital) and Dr Flavio Dantas (Prof of homeopathy at University of Uberlandia from Brazil).
Robert is currently President of OHM pharma inc., an appointed member of the HPCUS (Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia Convention of the United States, the organization that maintains the policies and procedures of the official compendium of homeopathy manufacturing in the USA), and is a current member of the American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists, American Institute of Homeopathy, Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis, North American Society of Homeopaths, and National Center for Homeopathy.
Robert is passionate about helping professional homeopaths expand the practice of homeopathy, integrating our community of homeopaths (emphasizing respect and acceptance of different schools of thought), integrating homeopathy into mainstream medicine, and supporting research into scientific methodology that can validate the effectiveness of homeopathy.

Susan Keefe, Director

Susan Keefe, CCH is a certified classical homeopath. She graduated from the Teleosis Homeopathic Collaborative, LLC, Professional Program in 2011. Her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst Mass was earned in 1994. Susan is also a member of the 101st Airborne Support Group with strong connections to the Home Run Foundation working with Veterans. Susan is also a Shamanic Practitioner trained in the Unani tradition under her Shaman, Ann Drake. Trained also in the Native American traditions as that is the ground she works upon. She has a thriving practice in Georgetown, Mass. The logic of the homeopathic care that covers the physical, mental and emotional perfectly complements the spiritual care of the shamanic work.

Kelly Weatherly, Director (Public Member)

Kelly Weatherly, B.A., CNHP, DHP is a graduate from Asbury University, a traditional natural health practitioner, digestive health professional, and volunteer board member for Americans for Homeopathy Choice. Kelly brings with her several years of experience working with non-profits, from their infancy to their required certifications. She believes it is important for the homeopathic community, including like-minded non-profits to work together, encourage, and support one another. After experiencing life-changing events within her family, she began seeking out additional health-healing opportunities. This led her to discovering homeopathy and seeing it as a great additional health care choice. She is always excited to share this information with others, encouraging them to seek-out homeopathic care for their families as well as pets.
Being a part of the Council for Homeopathic Certification gives Kelly continued opportunities to encourage and educate others about homeopathy and the importance of growing and allowing homeopathy to be a form of recognized health care medicine.

Tami Herndon, MS, CCH, RSHom(NA)
Tami Herndon brings training and career experience in finance, marketing, professional communications, and homeopathy to the role of CHC Executive Administrator. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at Louisiana State University and a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing at New York University. Tami completed her homeopathy training at Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy.
Tami is passionate about homeopathy and the possibility for profound healing the discipline offers. Upon discovering homeopathy to help with her children’s ailments, Tami trained in homeopathy and became a CHC-certified homeopathic practitioner. After nearly 15 years of practice, she is excited about contributing to the homeopathic community in a different way, as a member of the CHC team.
Tami happily supports CHC applicants, candidates, and certificants in their efforts to meet and maintain a recognized standard of professional and ethical competence in classical homeopathy.
